Mark Meadows Selfishly Ignores Statewide Order and Hosts Huge Indoor Wedding for Daughter in Atlanta
Yet more utter disregard for public health.
As is par for the course for anyone in Trumpland, White House chief of staff Mark Meadows demonstrated his utter disregard for public health by hosting a lavish wedding for his daughter in Atlanta this May, despite a statewide order and city of Atlanta guidelines that banned gatherings of more than 10 people to prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
People were zooming into their parents’ funerals and this asshole threw a whole ass wedding https://t.co/DAhpdUbFGm

The completely tone-deaf affair took place May 31 at the Biltmore Ballrooms in Midtown Atlanta. The 70 or so guests, including U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, donned tuxedos and ball gowns for the indoor affair, but ZERO masks.
2) And here’s a photo of the bride and her bridesmaids—which alone is a gathering of 12, larger than the state allows: https://t.co/W5SRBCBOQy

This news comes on the heels of Trump’s super-spreader Rose Garden event for Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett, which has infected at least 34 White House staff and counting.
While the rest of us were on lockdown, Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows was throwing a big wedding party.
They scream “Law and Order” to keep Black and Brown people in control, but they break the laws for themselves whenever it’s convenient. https://t.co/vHGllzx8gA

Talk about hypocritical.
In May, racist Mark Meadows hosted a wedding with 70 guests for his daughter in Atlanta, ignoring a statewide order/city guidelines that banned gatherings of more than 10 people.
But Speaker Pelosi was condemned for getting a haircut and it received coverage for days.
