Joe Biden Blasts Trump: He’s a “Fool” for Mocking Life-Saving Face Masks

In a MUCH-needed display of leadership, Joe and Dr. Jill Biden wore masks as they visited a veterans’ memorial on Memorial Day — and, even though health officials have been urging all Americans to wear masks to minimize the spread of coronavirus, Fox News’ Brit Hume politicized the masks and mocked Joe for taking the measure to stop the spread of the virus. And, as deaths from COVD-19 near 100,000 in the U.S., Trump childishly re-Tweeted the disparaging Tweet — for which he rightfully got blasted by Joe.

In an interview with CNN, Biden responded, “He’s a fool, an absolute fool, to talk that way.”

Biden had sharp words for the president over what he called a lack of leading by example, accusing Trump of “stoking deaths.”

“He’s supposed to lead by example,” Biden said. The former vice president also noted that nearly 100,000 Americans have been killed by the virus and suggested that as many as half of those deaths were avoidable but for Trump’s “lack of attention and ego.”

Many others agree.

He looks like someone who doesn’t want to catch or spread the lethal disease that is still classified as a pandemic and for which there is no cure. Machismo, sadly, does not ward it off.
